The AS 19983 gasket under the spout is a shaped rubber gasket placed between the front flange surface of the spout and the surface of the pool wall. Proper sealing prevents pressurised water from penetrating behind the tiling elements or under the liner, thereby protecting the load-bearing structure from moisture and degradation. The material, resistant to chlorinated water, temperature and pressure, corresponds to the operating conditions of the pool hydraulic circuit. The gasket should always be replaced whenever the spout is removed from the pool wall.
