The extended socket d50 is a PVC-U fitting designed for permanent glued joints of pool piping with a diameter of 50 mm. Compared to the standard socket, the extended version offers a greater length of bonded overlap, thereby increasing the strength of the joint and reducing the risk of water leakage even under higher pressure stress. The PVC-U material is chemically resistant to chlorinated pool water and pH-correcting products throughout the entire service life of the installation. The smooth internal surface minimises hydraulic losses and prevents the build-up of dirt inside the fitting. The part is suitable for new installations as well as repairs of existing pool piping.
