Fiberbrite PES Filter Balls 50 mm, 700 g (Replaces 25 kg of Sand)

Fiberbrite filter balls are made of 100% recyclable polyester fibres (PES) and achieve a filtration efficiency of up to 3 microns, thereby significantly outperforming common filter sand or glass beads. One 700 g package replaces approximately 25 kg of filter sand, making it 36× lighter and much easier to handle when filling the filter. The very low pressure loss reduces the energy demand of the pump and saves operating costs throughout the season. The balls meet the NSF/ANSI 42, 50, 61, 372 and ČSN EN 16713-1 standards and are suitable for above-ground and in-ground pools, aquarium filters and pre-filters. The recommended maximum water temperature is 40 °C; cleaning is carried out externally outside the filter in a 5% sodium hypochlorite solution, not by backwashing.
