The fan cover is a plastic protective part that covers the cooling fan on the rear side of the New Contra pump motor. It prevents contact of rotating parts with foreign objects and at the same time directs the flow of cooling air through the motor.
A damaged or missing cover endangers operator safety and can lead to motor overheating due to disrupted air flow. Replacement with an original part restores both protection and optimal cooling.
The cover is made of durable plastic that withstands operation near the pool, where moisture and chemical vapors are present. Both fitting and removal are quick and require no special tools.
