The collector – PVC coupling with internal thread 3/4″ is a key connecting element of the distribution system of the Cantabric filter vessel. It connects the collector arms to the central collector pipe and ensures a hermetic joint so that the filter media does not pass through to the outlet side.
The PVC material withstands pool chemicals, pressure and the temperatures typical of filtration circuits. The 3/4″ internal thread corresponds to the standard design of the collector arms in Cantabric vessels.
The part is usually replaced when it cracks due to pressure surges or during a general overhaul of the vessel’s distribution system. We recommend visually checking the condition of the couplings each time the vessel is emptied.
