The M8 × 100 mm clamping bolt is an original connecting element of the clamp assembly of the QS filter tank. The bolt transmits the tightening force to the clamp rollers and thereby pulls the two halves of the clamp around the flange joint of the lid and body of the filter tank.
The bolt length of 100 mm corresponds to the original specification for clamps of smaller QS filter tank diameters and is essential for achieving the correct tightening torque without stripping the bolt or insufficient tightening. The bolt material withstands moisture and corrosion for safe operation in the pool exterior.
A damaged, bent or stretched bolt should be replaced immediately to prevent water leakage or dangerous loosening of the clamp under operating pressure. We recommend keeping spare bolts in stock for quick repairs during the annual winter maintenance of the filter tank.
