The PP tapping saddle with metal reinforcement is designed for creating side branches on piping with an external diameter of 63 mm with a 3/4″ connecting thread. Compared to standard plastic saddles, the metal reinforcement offers higher clamping strength and better resistance to deformation when tightened.
The polypropylene base resists both chlorinated and salt water and the working pressures common in pool installations. The saddle is fitted onto the pipe, tightened, and then the required hole is drilled through its centre – all without disassembling the existing piping.
Suitable for new installations as well as repairs where a filling, draw-off or dosing point needs to be added to a finished piping system.
