The plug with a 3″ BSP male thread is a PVC fitting intended for closing unused fitting inlets, fittings or pipe connections with a diameter of 3 inches.
The PVC material is chemically inert to pool chemistry and withstands mechanical stress during tightening as well as the operating pressure in the pipe system.
For proper sealing of the threaded joint, we recommend using a combination of Teflon tape and a PVC thread sealant, which prevents any leakage.
The plug is particularly practical during pool winterizing or hydraulics servicing, when parts of the pipe system need to be temporarily sealed.
