The NEWBCC impeller nut is a fastening element that ensures the firm fixing of the impeller on the shaft of the counter-current pump motor. A loosened or damaged nut can cause uncontrolled movement of the impeller, vibration and rapid damage to the mechanical seal and bearings.
The original NEWBCC part has the correct thread and material design for the safe tightening and retention of the impeller’s position even at high speeds and the load of the counter-current system. The nut is normally checked and, if necessary, replaced during every service intervention in the hydraulic part of the pump. Replacement is simple and requires only basic tools.
