The ESPA Tifon 1 pump is a popular unit for the filtration of mid- and upper-range pools. The impeller is of the 300M type, designed for a specific power variant of this pump, and its replacement is the most common service operation after the mechanical seal.
The part is made of plastic resistant to chlorinated water and UV radiation. The precise blade geometry was designed to achieve optimal flow at the lowest possible motor power consumption.
Replacement does not require special tools – after removing the front cover and the seal, the impeller is simply unscrewed from the shaft. We recommend also checking the condition of the mechanical seal and the front gasket during replacement.
