The impeller cover seal is a rubber component sealing the joint between the front cover and the body of the pumping section of Espa pumps. A properly functioning seal prevents water leakage and pressure drop, which would reduce the flow and stress the motor.
The original part is compatible with the Silen, Silen 2, Silen S, Silen S2, Tifon 1 and Niper 1–350 models – one seal covers the entire family of popular Espa pumps. The material resistant to pool chemicals and temperature fluctuations guarantees a long service life.
Always replace the seal when disassembling the pump or immediately upon detecting a leak. It is one of the cheapest and most effective service operations that extends the service life of the entire pump.
