The PVC-U plug with a 2″ BSP female thread closes unused ports on filters, distribution blocks or collectors in medium and larger pool installations. The 2″ thread corresponds to d63 piping and covers outlets on pool filters and pumps of medium output.
The PVC-U material resists chlorinated as well as ozonated water, while it does not rust even with long-term contact with moisture. The plug is screwed by hand or with a wrench into the fitting and sealed with PTFE tape for watertightness at the full operating pressure of the system.
The robust one-piece design of the plug without moving parts minimizes the risk of failure and guarantees maintenance-free operation throughout the entire service life of the installation. The standard BSP thread allows interchangeability with original plugs even during later repairs.
