PVC Plug with Female Thread – 1½”

The PVC-U plug with a 1½” BSP female thread is designed to close outlets on larger pool fittings, filter heads or industrial water systems. The 1½” diameter corresponds to d50 piping and is the standard for ports of medium pool filters and counter-current units.

The PVC-U material guarantees resistance to aggressive pool chemicals, UV radiation and operating temperatures up to 60°C. The plug is simply screwed into the open port of the fitting and sealed with Teflon tape, preventing water leakage even at higher operating pressure.

Unlike metal plugs, the PVC-U variant does not exhibit galvanic corrosion in contact with other metals in the installation. The compact dimensions and low weight facilitate handling during installation even in the tight spaces of the pool plant room.
