The PVC-U reducing socket with a 25 mm diameter and a 3/4″ BSP female thread is a standard fitting designed for the permanent connection of PVC piping to the threaded connections of fittings or devices. The socket is glued into d25 piping and the desired element is screwed into the thread.
The d25/3/4″ dimension is common for connecting small pumps, flow meters or check valves in pool chemical or control circuit systems. The PVC-U material is hygienically safe and resistant to pool chemistry throughout the entire service life of the installation.
