The PVC-U glue/male-thread union with a 25 mm diameter and a 3/4″ BSP male thread is designed for installation at the point of transition of plastic piping to devices with a female thread. The PN16 class pressure union allows easy repeated disconnection and reconnection of the attached fitting.
The d25/3/4″ dimension is typical for connecting flow meters, solenoid valves, UV lamps or relief valves of a pool installation. The 3/4″ BSP male thread complies with the international standard and can be sealed with Teflon tape or thread sealant.
The PVC-U union is resistant to all pool chemicals and UV radiation, thereby surpassing the service life of metal alternatives in a humid environment. The glue socket is manufactured with precise tolerance for proper adhesion of the PVC glue.
