The flat PVC-U stub flange with a diameter of 90 mm is used for precise positioning of the gasket in a flanged connection of pool or process circuit pipework. It is used in combination with a d90 backing ring to create a solid yet repeatedly demountable connection.
The 90 mm diameter covers pipework with a flow corresponding to medium-sized filters and pumps, typically for private and smaller commercial pools. The PVC-U material resists chlorinated water, ozonation and UV radiation.
The flat profile of the stub flange minimizes the risk of gasket deformation during installation and ensures long-term watertightness of the connection. The stub flange is installed without tools and is readily available even for low-cost pipework repairs.
