The PVC solvent-weld end cap d20 PN16 is designed to permanently close the end of a pipe or fitting socket with a diameter of 20 mm. The simple solvent-weld design made of unplasticized PVC-U ensures hermetic sealing without the need for seals or bolting.
The PVC-U material is resistant to chlorine, acids, algicides and hydrogen peroxide, so the cap retains its shape and tightness even with long-term contact with pool or hot tub water. The pressure class PN16 corresponds to standard pool circulation systems.
The cap can be used for blind closure of free sockets, conservation of pipework for the winter or sealing of test connections. Installation with standard PVC adhesive is permanent and irreversible.
