The reduced 90° PVC tee d50×20×50 is intended for pool distribution systems where a very narrow branch of 20 mm diameter needs to be taken off the main pipe of 50 mm diameter — typically for a dosing pump inlet, an air vent or a flow sensor.
The substantial difference in diameters (50 vs. 20 mm) ensures that the branch line has no practical effect on the flow of the main pipe run, which remains hydraulically unaffected.
The PVC-U material with a PN 16 pressure rating is suitable for pool, industrial and chemical water distribution; it resists chlorine, aggressive acids and disinfectants.
The fitting is joined with standard PVC adhesive; the socket surfaces are dimensioned for serial bonding depths according to standard ISO 1452.
