Salt tester Aquacheck – strips

The Aquacheck salt tester in strip form is intended for simple manual measurement of the salt concentration in the water of salt-chlorinated pools and hot tubs.

The test strip is immersed in the water and after the colour of the indicator field changes – usually within 10–20 seconds – the value is read off by comparison with the enclosed colour scale.

The correct salt level (typically 3,000–4,000 mg/l) is essential for the optimal function of the chlorine electrolyser; regular testing prevents damage to the electrode and insufficient disinfection.

The strips are supplied in a resealable container that protects them from moisture, so they retain their accuracy throughout the declared shelf life.
