The pre-filter lid of the M-Swim pump closes off the filter chamber in which the basket capturing dirt before it enters the pump body is located. The transparent design of the lid allows immediate visual inspection of the basket’s condition without any tools.
The part is made of durable transparent plastic with a thread adapted precisely to the body of the M-Swim pump. The correctly tightened lid, together with the seal (sold separately), prevents air from entering the pre-filter and ensures smooth operation of the pump.
A cracked or deformed lid can cause air bubbles in the system, loss of pump performance or its cavitation. Replacement is quick – turn the lid anti-clockwise, replace it and tighten by hand.
