The union L/female thread PVC d50×1 1/2″ combines a glued socket for DN50 pipe and a 1 1/2″ female thread in a demountable design. It allows the complete disconnection of a pipe section without damaging it, which is key during the servicing of pumps or filters.
The PVC-U material guarantees chemical resistance to the chlorinated water environment and mechanical strength during repeated installation and removal. The enclosed seal ensures safe watertightness once the union is assembled.
It is recommended to install one at every pump, filter or fitting where future service intervention or replacement of the device can be expected.
