This gasket is designed for the EcoMatik ESC and ESR series salt chlorinator units from the manufacturer Davey/Monarch. A correctly fitted gasket prevents leaks of brine solution and pool water at the point where the electrolytic cell is seated.
Wear of the gasket can cause salt water to leak into the surroundings of the electrical installation, which represents a safety risk. Regular replacement of the gasket during servicing of the chlorinator eliminates this risk.
The original elastomer material is resistant to the brine environment and the working temperatures typical of salt chlorinator systems. Replacement is simple and can be managed even by a non-expert when following the manufacturer’s installation procedure.
