The PVC/brass union with male thread combines the advantages of plastic piping and a metal threaded connection. The plastic part (diameter d50) is glued onto the PVC pipe and the brass threaded part allows easy connection to a fitting or device with a 1½“ female thread.
The brass part resists corrosion and ensures firm, tight joints even at higher operating pressure. The combination of materials is chemically compatible with pool water treated with chlorine or a salt chlorinator.
The union is designed to be installed by gluing onto standard PVC piping DN50. The two-part design allows the connection to be dismantled without damaging the pipe.
