This fitting transitions from glued ends for diameters 110 or 90 mm to a 2½” BSP female thread, thereby extending the range of compatible equipment to those with a larger threaded connection than the standard 2″.
The 2½” thread finds application with more powerful pool pumps, built-in filtration manifolds or industrial valves for high-capacity pools and aquaparks.
