The Short Reducer d50/40–1 1/2 adhesive/female thread PVC-U is a special transition fitting with a dual solvent-weld connection option (d50 or d40) and a 1 1/2″ female thread. The 1 1/2″ thread is used when connecting more powerful pumps, main ball valves or transition unions with a larger diameter.
The pair of solvent-weld sockets of different dimensions provides greater flexibility during installation without the need for an additional reducing fitting. The PVC-U material is chemically resistant and meets the demands of the pool environment.
The fitting is suitable for plant rooms of larger pools where suction or discharge pipework of various dimensions needs to be connected to fittings with a 1 1/2″ diameter.
