The Short Reducer adhesive/female thread d32–3/4 PVC-U combines a d32 solvent-weld socket with a 3/4″ female thread. The 3/4″ thread is a standard size for ball valves and check valves connected to d32 pipe routes in pool filtration, counter-current units or hot tubs.
The PVC-U material is resistant to the chemical environment of pool water. The fitting is compatible with standard PVC adhesives for smooth solvent-weld sockets and with PTFE tape or silicone thread for thread sealing.
It is used for connecting manual or automatic shut-off valves, switching valves or associated measuring instruments to the pipe network of a pool installation.
