The Union PVC/Brass d50–1 1/2 combines the strength of a brass threaded connection with the chemical resistance of the PVC-U pipe socket. The 1 1/2″ brass female thread allows direct connection of pumps, heat exchangers and other equipment with a standard male thread, while the d50 solvent-weld socket ensures a firm connection to the pipe network.
The detachable design of the union is an advantage during service interventions – the pump or fitting can be easily disconnected without the need to cut the pipe. Tightness of the joint is ensured by an inserted EPDM seal resistant to chlorinated water and aggressive chemicals.
The union is dimensioned for pressure installations and its combination of materials meets the demands of pool technology for durability and long service life. Suitable for connecting circulation pumps, heat pumps and filters with a brass inlet.
