The extended socket d63 is a PVC-U fitting for glued joints of pipes with an outer diameter of 63 mm, which is commonly used in pool circulation systems with higher flow rates. The greater length of the socket compared to the standard version provides a longer bonding surface, and therefore a stronger mechanical connection even under increased pressure. The PVC-U material resists chlorinated water, pool chemicals and UV radiation in outdoor installations. The fitting is fully compatible with standardised d63 pipes and the corresponding adhesives for PVC piping. The smooth internal bore ensures low pressure losses in the hydraulic circuit.
