The PVC union adhesive/adhesive in the d16 PN16 dimension is a detachable fitting that is indispensable wherever the hydraulic pipework needs to be regularly disconnected – for example when replacing a pump, filter or other technological element.
Both solvent-weld sockets (adhesive) are permanently joined to the d16 pipe, while the central nut allows the union to be opened and re-screwed at any time. Tightness of the joint is ensured by an inserted EPDM seal resistant to chlorinated water and pool chemicals.
The PVC-U material is certified for PN16 pressure installations. The union is also suitable for pipework of hot tubs, dosing systems or UV sterilisers where service access to the pipe is essential.
