The transition socket nipple combines a glued socket for piping with a diameter of 20 or 25 mm with a 3/4″ male thread, allowing two different systems to be connected.
The PVC construction guarantees chemical resistance and a long, corrosion-free service life even in permanent contact with pool or drinking water.
The glued side is joined with standard cold PVC adhesive, while the threaded side is sealed with Teflon tape or hemp – the installation can be handled even by an experienced DIY enthusiast.
The nipple is suitable wherever a fitting, shut-off valve or other threaded fixtures need to be connected directly to PVC piping.
