Toroidal Seal 170 × 5.75 mm for Corona Filtration

The toroidal seal (O-ring) with a diameter of 170 mm and a cross-section of 5.75 mm is an original spare part for the Corona filter tank. It serves to seal the lid of the filter tank and prevents water leakage during operation of the filtration circuit under pressure.

The seal is made of an elastomer resistant to pool chemistry, UV radiation and operating water temperatures. Regular replacement (recommended every 2–3 seasons) is key to trouble-free operation of the filtration and to preventing costly water leaks.

Replacement is simple: the tank lid is unscrewed, the old seal is removed from the groove, the groove is cleaned and degreased and the new seal is inserted. Before closing the lid, it is advisable to lightly coat the seal with silicone grease for easier seating.
