The plug made of PVC-U with a 1 inch external thread (BSP) is a practical solution for the temporary or permanent closing of openings in pool water distribution. Unlike metal plugs, it is not subject to corrosion or seizing, so it can be easily removed even after several seasons.
The PVC-U material meets the requirements for contact with drinking water and resists pool chemistry, pH adjustment products and disinfection agents. The shaping of the plug allows firm tightening with a flat wrench or adjustable spanner.
During installation it is advisable to treat the thread with Teflon tape to achieve a watertight joint. Maximum operating pressure PN 16, temperature range -10 to 60 °C.
