The LX ozonator is an effective ozone generator for keeping the water in hot tubs and spas clean and hygienic. It produces ozone that destroys bacteria and reduces the need for chemicals. For optimal performance we recommend replacement every 2–3 years.
It is a high-quality replacement for the Balboa ozonator, used by a number of hot tubs – for example Aegean, Beachcomber, Dimension 1, Emerald Spa, HotSpring, Hydrospa, Hydropool, LA Spas, Leisure Bay, Leisurerite, Marquis or Wellis (ACM0660).
How ozone helps
- Ozone does not need to be purchased or stored – it is generated directly in the device and automatically supplied to the water
- Does not change the pH level
- Reduces the amount of dissolved solids and the need for chemicals
- Is a very effective oxidizing agent; once it leaves the water it turns back into oxygen
- Saves the thermal cover and headrests thanks to reduced chemical use
