Fittings Accessories

Accessories – fittings includes over 150 items for completing and maintaining PVC-U pool hydraulics: flanges and stub flanges, flange couplings, pipe clamps, sight glasses for pipework, hair strainers, hose clips, sealing and adhesive materials, and installation tools. Brands include Griffon, Weld-On, Tangit, Poly Max and Dragonpool adhesives and aids, and small connecting parts for Emaux and Besgo products. The category complements the Fittings, Pipes & Hoses section. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, with shipping across the EU. Dimensions and flanged joints Flanged joints are the widest group: PVC flanges in dimensions 63 to 315 mm, stub flanges 50 to 315 mm, flange gaskets 63 to 315 mm, and M16 and M20 bolts in lengths of 90 to 140 mm with nuts and washers. A flange coupling for dimensions 90 to 200 mm gives you a detachable connection where you expect to dismantle the technology later. Pipe sight glasses come in dimensions 63 to 225 mm and in a flanged version 75 to 160 mm; they let you check the flow without opening up the pipework. You will find pipes and fittings for the same system in the PVC Fittings category. Pipe mounting, pump protection and tools PVC pipe clamps cover dimensions 20 to 110 mm, adjustable clamps ranges from 20–23 mm to 87–95 mm, and they can be supplemented with a clip for quick release. Hose clips range from 12–22 mm up to 150–170 mm and tie in with our range of hoses and pipes. Solvent-weld hair strainers in dimensions d32, d40, d50, d63 and d75 in pressure class PN16 are fitted upstream of the circulation pump and catch hair and textile fibres before they damage the impeller. Tools in stock include pipe cutters for the ranges 10–63, 50–110 and 110–160 mm, hand deburring tools and a deburring tool for 32 to 250 mm, applicator guns and a cutting wire. Adhesives, sealants and thread sealing Pressure PVC pipework needs solvent cement – Weld-On 721 in 237 and 473 ml packs handles Sch. 40 up to 160 mm and Sch. 80 up to 110 mm. Threaded joints can be sealed with PTFE tape 12 or 19 mm wide, Flon 100 sealing thread (175 m) or Tangit Uni-Lock (80 m), or Griffon Kolmat 14 mm tape. For flexible joints and bonding outside the pipework, there are Poly Max assembly adhesives and sealants in 280–290 ml and 380–435 g packs and Dragonpool adhesive based on MS polymer. EPDM O-rings and toric seals serve as spare parts for flexible fittings, pumps and filter tanks; silicone grease prolongs the life of every O-ring and shut-off valve. Who this category is for This category is mainly for construction and service companies installing and repairing pool pipework, and for technically skilled pool owners completing an extension or winter maintenance of the plant room. When building new technology, it pays to order fittings together with PVC-U valves and fittings, so the dimensions, pressure class and joint type fit from the first installation. If you are not sure whether to use a solvent-welded or threaded joint, go by the pipe dimension and how accessible the spot is – a solvent-welded joint is cheaper and tighter, while threaded and flanged joints allow later dismantling. The e-shop is run by IDOL SPAS s.r.o., a Czech hot tub manufacturer with its own service team – if you are unsure about your choice, we will advise from hands-on experience. We offer service companies and resellers a wholesale programme with individual pricing.
