Commercial Pumps

High-performance circulation pumps for public pools, hotels, wellness centres and water parks – the BADU Resort, Magnus, CF-2, CF-4 and Big Discovery ranges. Three-phase pumps for continuous operation with flow rates above 170 m³/h, for example the Magnus 1500 with an output of 11 kW and a flow of 177 m³/h. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, with shipping across the EU. How they differ from pumps for private pools The equipment of a public pool runs practically non-stop and has to move much more water than a private pool. That is why these pumps have a sturdier construction, three-phase 400 V motors and, in the higher models, bronze impellers instead of plastic – in the Magnus range the 1000 model has a plastic impeller, while models 1250 and 1500 have a bronze one, which withstands wear better in long-term operation. How to choose a pump The deciding factors are the required flow and the delivery head of the whole system – pipe length, number of filters, installation height and the resistance of the valves. A pump for a public facility should be designed by a pool technology designer; if you are replacing an existing pump, keep to the flow, power input and connection dimensions of the original unit. Several pumps are often installed in parallel so that operation does not stop while one of them is serviced. What to watch out for A pump of this output needs matching circuit protection and motor protection, possibly a frequency converter for a smooth start; you will find complete control panels in the category Complete Control Panels. Spare seals and impellers are in the category Pump Spare Parts, and pumps for private pools in the category Single-Speed Pumps. Who this category is for For operators of public pools, pool technology designers and service companies. The shop is run by IDOL SPAS s.r.o., a Czech hot tub manufacturer with its own service team. For service companies and resellers we offer a wholesale programme with individual pricing.
