Filter Kit (tank + pump)

Nearly 200 complete filtration sets in which the tank, pump and six-way valve are supplied as one matched unit. The range includes the Azur KIT, MIDI, ROMA, BILBAO, Cantabric, Martinic QS, SMG and TOP series with tank diameters of 300 to 900 mm and flow rates of 4 to 20 m³/h, fitted with Bettar, Preva, FreeFlo, Micro Delfino, Victoria, Badu TOP II pumps or Mr.Pump ECO and InverPro inverter pumps. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, with shipping across the EU. The difference compared with separate components A KIT solves what you would otherwise have to calculate and buy yourself with a self-assembled set: the pump flow is matched to the tank size, the valve with pressure gauge is included, and most variants also include a base or pallet, with some ranges even supplying the connecting pipe between filter and pump. If, on the other hand, you are replacing only one part - a cracked tank or a worn-out pump - you can buy it separately in the categories Filter Tanks and Pumps. How to size a KIT by pool volume The starting point is the rule that the pool's volume should pass through the filtration about twice every 24 hours. The required flow is therefore the pool volume × 2 divided by the number of hours the filtration runs per day: for a 32 m³ pool with eight hours of running it comes to 8 m³/h, and with twelve hours of running 5.3 m³/h is enough. The result determines the tank size - in the range, diameters of 380 to 400 mm are fitted with pumps of 4 to 9 m³/h, diameters of 480 to 500 mm with flows of 8 to 12 m³/h, diameters of 560 to 600 mm with flows of 12 to 16 m³/h, and the largest tanks of 650 to 900 mm with flows of 14 to 20 m³/h. A small tank with an overly powerful pump filters worse: water passes through the sand so quickly that fine dirt has no time to be captured. Versions and control The sets differ in the position of the six-way valve. A top valve sits on top of the tank (Azur KIT, ROMA), while a side valve SM is on the shell (MIDI, BILBAO, Cantabric, Martinic QS, split KIT) - they are not interchangeable. You switch backwashing manually with a lever, or choose a set with an automatic BESGO or AquaStar pneumatic valve. Inverter variants (InverPro IP25 and IP30 with Wi-Fi, Mr.Pump ECO DE14 to DE22) vary the speed smoothly - they filter in economy mode for most of the day and raise the output only for backwashing. What to watch out for Filter media is not included with every set; the usual medium is silica sand of 0.4-0.8 mm grain size, with filter glass as an alternative - both are listed under Filter Media. The valve connection is typically 1 1/2", 2" or 3" and determines the size of the connecting pipework. And allow for the waste water, which carries away the entire filtration flow during backwashing. Who this category is for Owners of new and renovated pools who want a ready-made solution without assembling components, and installation firms for whom a set saves time on site. The shop is run by IDOL SPAS s.r.o., a Czech hot tub manufacturer with its own service team - send us your pool dimensions and we will recommend a set size. We offer service companies and dealers a wholesale programme with individual pricing.
