Manual Cleaning Tools

Manual cleaning tools cover over 70 items for everyday pool maintenance without electronics – telescopic poles, brushes, nets, manual vacuums, floating and drain hoses, hose reels, sponges and complete sets. The range includes Vágner products, Ocean poles, EN-VIE accessories, the Zodiac SPA WAND hot tub hand vacuum and the REVOLUTION and RotoTrap ranges. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, with shipping across the EU. Basic equipment The minimum set for manual maintenance is a telescopic pole, a brush, a skimmer net, a vacuum head and a floating hose. Poles span from 1.2–3.6 m to 3.6–7.2 m, in two-piece and three-piece versions with a diameter of 28/32 mm; the reinforced REVOLUTION versions are meant for large pools and frequent use. Brushes come in widths of 26, 45 and 60 cm, including ALU-reinforced, corner and algae brushes. Vacuum heads have a working width of 280 mm (STANDARD, DE LUX with side brushes) up to 510 mm and a 32/38 mm connection. The ready-made sets Kit 112, Kit De luxe and REVOLUTION KIT make sense for a new pool where you have nothing yet. What to watch out for The main source of mistakes is compatibility. Tools attach to the pole with a standard clip fitting, but check the pole diameter and whether the head is designed for that type of fitting. For hoses, watch the diameter – they come in 32 mm and 38 mm, along with reducing, universal and fixed couplings. Choose the hose length according to the distance of the farthest point of the pool from the skimmer and add some reserve; the range runs from 1 m up to a 50 m set, and floating spiral hoses come in lengths of 6 to 15 m including end fittings. The pool surface decides the bristles: brushes with stainless steel bristles belong on concrete, on liner use softer variants to avoid damage. For concrete pools, the category also includes separate vacuums with and without brushes. How it fits with the rest of maintenance Manual tools work alongside automation, not instead of it. A robot or pool vacuum covers the surface, and with a hand brush and net you finish the corners, steps and waterline. You will find the rest of the seasonal accessories in the parent category Pool Maintenance, and chemicals and testers in the sections Pool Chemicals and Measurement & Testing. Who this category is for Private pool owners who maintain their pool themselves will find it useful, as will operators and service technicians who need replacement heads, poles and hoses in professional quality and in sizes that fit existing equipment. The shop is run by IDOL SPAS s.r.o., a Czech hot tub manufacturer with its own service team – if you are unsure what to choose, we will advise from experience. We offer service companies and resellers a wholesale programme with individual pricing.
