Electrical & Cables

Over 80 electrical components and cabling for hot tubs - connecting cables, extension cables for control panels, temperature and hi-limit probes, pressure and pneumatic switches, level sensors, fuses and connector adapters. In stock are parts for Balboa systems (including Plug'n'Click cables), Gecko (IN.LINK, DTec2), Waterway, Sundance and Vita Spa. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, with shipping across the EU. The connector is what matters With hot tub cabling, length is not the issue - the connector type is. In practice you will come across AMP connectors with 2, 3 and 4 pins (a two-pin one is usually the lighting, a four-pin one the two-speed pump), the Gecko IN.LINK system for low-current devices, and Mini J&J. Adapters exist between some types, for example from AMP to Mini JJ for an ozonator, but not every combination can be bridged. The safest approach is to copy the designation from the connector or send us a photo of it. Probes and switches Temperature and hi-limit probes monitor the heating and are tied to a specific generation of control unit - Balboa lists separate probes for systems before the M7 series, and Sundance and Vita Spa have their own versions including cable length. The Gecko DTec2 pressure switch and TBS132A-type pneumatic switches monitor flow and switch functions; a faulty flow sensor is often the cause of an error message even though there is nothing wrong with the pump. The range is completed by 1 A and 3 A glass fuses and 25 A main fuses. Safety first Work on the electrical installation of a hot tub is reserved electrical work. Switch off the circuit breaker before any handling and make sure the circuit is de-energised; switching the hot tub off at the panel is not enough. If you are unsure, leave the replacement to a service technician - with equipment in permanent contact with water the risk of injury is real. Who this category is for Hot tub service technicians and technically skilled owners looking for a specific cable, probe or switch for an existing system. You will find control units and control panels in the Control Systems (Balboa, Gecko) category, and the full overview of parts in the parent category Hot Tub Spare Parts. The shop is run by IDOL SPAS s.r.o., a Czech hot tub manufacturer with its own service team - if you are unsure what to choose, we will advise you from experience. We offer service companies and dealers a wholesale programme with individual pricing.
