First find out which control system your hot tub has – with Gecko in.lu.me the lights connect via a spider cable with a given number of LEDs or via a cable loop with a certain number of connectors, with AtekLED the individual lights are chained via Daisy Chain. Cable length matters too: the same spider cable comes in several lengths, and a short cable will not reach a more distant light. On the old part, look for the manufacturer's order number, for example 0609-521001 for Gecko IN.MIX. What to watch out for The lighting module must match the control unit – with the Gecko IN.MIX-300 the version for the 5V port differs from the one for in.lu.me systems. Disconnect the hot tub from the power supply before replacing anything; the lights sit in the shell below the waterline and on some models you can only reach them after removing the cladding.
