Pool Surroundings

Pool Surroundings includes more than 180 items for the areas and equipment around the water surface – solar showers, shower trays, ceramic pool coping and anti-slip paving. You will find Formidra showers of the JOLLY, DADA and SPRING series, stainless steel ORANA and BRISA showers made of AISI 304 steel, the ceramic collections MISTERY, VINTAGE, TAO, LOVELY, AURA, SERENA and ALMA, and Sahara, Ardoise and Louisiane concrete paving. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, and we deliver across the EU. Showers and trays Solar showers heat water in their own tank using the sun, so they need no electrical connection or heater – a cold water supply is enough. The tank volume is 25 l for the JOLLY series and 30 l for the SPRING series; the DADA series is also available in a large-capacity version. The key choice is between a version with a foot rinse and one without: a separate foot nozzle keeps grass and sand out of the pool and eases the load on the filtration. Showers come in anthracite (RAL 7016), sand, green, orange and light blue, in versions with a mirror strip, and in aluminium and piston designs. As accessories we also list 150 × 150 mm shower heads, limescale filters, seals and tank caps, so a shower can be repaired season after season instead of replaced. The range is rounded off by 70 × 70 and 90 × 90 cm shower trays and foot trays placed before the pool entrance. A full overview is in the subcategory Showers & Trays. Paving and coping The ceramic collections are modular: alongside the straight paving there are coping profiles and inner and outer corners in the same décor. Standard formats are the 62.6 × 31.7 × 3.8 cm coping, the 31 × 62.6 × 0.9 cm flat tile, the large-format 48.8 × 79.2 cm tile and the 31 × 31 cm square; the LOVELY collection also offers an elongated 78.25 × 15.25 cm format. The material is frost-resistant and resistant to UV radiation and pool chemicals; for walkways choose the Anti-Slip version. Sahara, Ardoise and Louisiane concrete paving is complemented by shaped pieces – straight rounded profiles of 500 × 330 and 500 × 350 mm, square pieces of 500 × 500 mm and a separate skimmer tile of 270 × 270 × 35 mm that gives access to the skimmer lid without cutting the surrounding surface. The whole range of surfaces is in the subcategory Paving & Surroundings. What to watch out for Ceramics are produced in batches, so order the coping, paving and corner pieces for a single project at the same time, with a reserve for cuts at corners and steps. Also bear in mind that thicknesses differ within a collection – flat tile is usually 0.9 cm, coping 2.6 or 3.8 cm – which has to be compensated for in the sub-base and adhesive build-up. Lighting for the surrounding areas is covered by the category Lighting, and covering the water surface by Reel Systems. Who this category is for The category is for pool builders and landscaping companies finishing the pool surroundings, and for owners completing a terrace or adding a shower. The shop is run by IDOL SPAS s.r.o., a Czech hot tub manufacturer with its own service team – if you are unsure about your choice, we will advise you from practical experience. For service companies and resellers we offer a wholesale programme with individual pricing.
