Ladders & Handrails

The Ladders & Handrails category brings together over 150 items for safe entry to and exit from the pool – stainless steel ladders, pool steps, handrails and railings, anchoring parts and small spare parts. You will find the Standard, Standard LUXE, Muro (Slim), Mixta, Munich, Ergo, MURO Luxe and Residencial model ranges, double-sided EEP and ESP ladders for above-ground pools, and also swimming pool equipment – starting blocks, a Dynamic 2 m diving board, and ROMA and MOSCU lane lines in lengths of 25 and 50 m. The category is part of the Pool Equipment section. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, and we deliver across the EU. Material: AISI 304 or AISI 316 The decisive factor is how the water is disinfected. AISI 304 stainless steel suits conventionally chlorinated pools and is the cheaper option. Pools with salt water or salt electrolysis require AISI 316 or 316L (DIN 1.4404) exclusively – the molybdenum content and low carbon content significantly increase resistance to pitting corrosion. Most models are therefore offered in both versions with identical geometry, so you pick the same type according to the chemistry of your own water. In indoor halls with a higher concentration of chloramines, service life is extended by zinc anodes, which we supply separately for both ladders and handrails. Anchoring and mounting dimensions Ladders have tubes with a diameter of 43 mm, separate handrails 40 mm, and railing tubes 35 mm. The standard anchoring is into concreted-in sockets – plastic or stainless steel – with flange anchoring directly into the paving as an alternative, suited to renovations without breaking up the surroundings. Both variants come with rosettes, caps, support and folding joints, concrete anchors and screw sets. The anchoring includes an earthing clamp: a stainless steel ladder must always be connected to the equipotential bonding. The steps have non-slip treads, and for deeper pools the first step can be widened to a double step 500 mm wide. Handrails, railings and accessories We offer straight AISI 316 handrails in lengths of 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 m, and polished 316L handrails with a 40 mm diameter also in a length of 3,400 mm; they are also available by the metre with open or capped ends. You can complete them with flanges, 90° connectors, plugs and continuous d43 holders. We offer stair railings in heights of 660 and 915 mm with a fixed flange or with a socket, and stainless steel railing tubes (AISI 304, d 35 mm) in lengths of 0.5 to 2.0 m. Safety equipment includes a lifebuoy with a diameter of 730 mm and a rescue loop. Who this category is for The range covers private garden pools as well as hotel and public facilities, where demands on material and safety are higher. Owners of above-ground pools from the Pools category will reach for EEP and ESP ladders for wall heights of 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5 m, while for in-ground pools a ladder with a socket or MURO steps works well. Designers and construction companies will appreciate that anchoring sockets and flanges can be ordered separately at the rough-construction stage, i.e. together with the Pool Surroundings. Service technicians will find spare parts here – treads, including rubber ones for Kripsol ladders, joints, rosettes, anodes and anchoring – so they can often avoid replacing the whole ladder. Behind the shop is IDOL SPAS s.r.o., a Czech hot tub manufacturer with its own service team – if you are unsure which to choose, we will advise you from experience. For service companies and resellers we offer a wholesale programme with individual pricing.
