Adapter G/Flex Socket d50 PVC

The adapter socket G/Flex d50 PVC-U is a shaped part designed to connect a flexible d50 hose to rigid glued pipe or a fitting from the socket side. While the d50 spigot is firmly glued to the rigid pipe, the socket end wraps around the flexible hose and, once secured with a hose clamp, creates a tight and firm joint.

Thanks to the socket construction (unlike the spigot version), the shaped part is suitable for applications where the flexible hose enters from the larger side and an enclosing grip needs to be achieved. The PVC-U material withstands the aggressive environment of pool water.

The shaped part finds use wherever it is necessary to transition from flexible routing to a rigid pipe or fitting in a different place than with the spigot variant – for example when connecting the discharge hose of a filter tank to rigid pipework.
