The aluminium base is the structural foundation for the safe and stable installation of the outdoor (OUTDOOR) version of the heat pump. The aluminium profile guarantees resistance to corrosion, weather and UV radiation without the need for surface treatment or regular preservation.
The correct height of the base ensures sufficient distance between the heat pump and the floor, thereby preventing contact with water during heavy rain or snowmelt and allowing free airflow beneath the unit. The base is designed for a specific type of heat pump in the OUTDOOR version and, during installation, is placed on a level, reinforced surface – a terrace, concrete slab or gravel bed.
