The PVC backing ring d110 is designed for the demountable flanged connection of pipework with a diameter of 110 mm to pumps, filters or fittings in industrial and pool installations. The rotating PVC-U collar is fitted onto the pipe or socket and fixed with bolts to the counter-flange.
The d110 dimension is used in the main branches of the circulation system of swimming baths, larger recreational pools or industrial circuits with high flow capacity. The PVC-U material resists chlorine and pool chemistry throughout the entire service life of the installation.
The loose design of the flange allows easy dismantling and reassembly of the connection during servicing without the need to saw the pipework. The drilling of the flange collar is compatible with standard d110 counterparts in pool technology.
