Chlorinator Seal Viton (for models 11129 and 11130)

The Viton seal is a special elastomer seal made of FKM fluoroelastomer (Viton), which excels in exceptional resistance to concentrated oxidising agents, halides and high temperatures. This property makes it ideal for use in chlorinators, where ordinary rubber seals degrade quickly.

The seal is intended as a spare part for the plastic Astral chlorinators models 11129 and 11130, where it ensures a hermetic closure of the chamber for chlorine tablets. A proper seal is crucial for the controlled release of chlorine into the pool water and the prevention of chemical leaks.

Replacing the seal is recommended at every cleaning of the chlorinator or at the first signs of water leakage. The Viton seal has a significantly longer service life compared to standard NBR or EPDM alternatives in applications with high chlorine concentrations.
