The collector arm is a plastic internal element of the filter vessel that distributes the filtered water through the filter medium (sand or glass medium) and drains it clean into the outlet pipe. The 115 mm length corresponds to a specific dimensional design of the TOP VF vessel.
A cracked or mechanically damaged arm causes uneven filtration, the passage of impurities into the pool and a drop in pressure. Replacement with an original part restores full filtration performance without the need to purchase a new vessel.
The arm is made of plastic resistant to chlorine and pool chemicals. Compatibility is verified with the TOP VF filter series from manufacturer Emaux.
