Connection seal for SMG 500/650 filter tank (set of 2)

The SMG 500/650 connection seal is a set of two rubber sealing rings (O-rings) designed to seal the pipe connections of the SMG 500 and 650 series filter tanks. Correctly fitted seals eliminate water leakage at the point where the valve or pipework joins the tank.

The sealing material is resistant to chlorinated water, UV radiation and the mechanical stress caused by filtration operating pressure. The set of two pieces allows both seals to be replaced in a single service operation.

Seal replacement is advisable during the annual inspection of the filtration system or when a visible water leak is detected at the connection point. Installation requires no special tools – simply detach the valve or pipe connection and fit the new seal.
