The collector arm is part of the lower (or upper) distribution system of the Cantabric filter vessel, where it ensures even distribution of water across the entire cross-section of the filter bed. Without properly functioning arms, uneven flow and reduced filtration performance occur.
The length of 100 mm and the 3/4″ threaded connection correspond to the collector assembly kit of Cantabric filter vessels. The part is made of chemically resistant plastic with slots calibrated to retain sand or glass filter media.
The collector arm is replaced when it cracks or clogs, or as part of a complete renovation of the distribution system when switching to a different type of filter media.
