The SMG 750/900 connection seal is a rubber sealing ring designed to seal the pipe connection of the larger-series filter tanks – SMG 750 and SMG 900. It ensures a watertight, pressure-resistant joint at the point where the pipework connects to the tank.
The ring material is resistant to chlorinated and salt water as well as to aggressive pool chemicals. The operating temperatures and pressures typical of pool filtration cause no deformation or degradation throughout the seal’s service life.
Replacement is recommended during the annual filtration inspection or as soon as a water leak appears at the connection point. A properly sealed joint prevents water loss, pressure drop in the circuit and potential damage to the surrounding structure or electrical installation.
