The cooling impeller is fitted onto the shaft of the M-Swim pump’s electric motor and, as it rotates, creates an air flow that dissipates heat from the surface of the motor housing. Without a functioning impeller, the motor overheats, which activates the thermal cut-out and the pump switches off.
The part is made of heat-resistant engineering plastic that can withstand both the heat of the motor and possible direct rain. The precise impeller blades are aerodynamically shaped for maximum air flow at low speeds.
A damaged or missing cooling impeller causes repeated pump shutdowns during prolonged operation and gradually shortens the motor’s service life. Replacement is simple – the impeller is fitted onto the shaft and secured with a locking element; usually no tools are required.
